GCSE Results

For Forest Hill students, GCSE results day marks the culmination of years of study and weeks of revision.

Once again, the hard work and dedication of our students and staff paid off with some great GCSE results in August 2019. The new GCSEs are significantly tougher than their predecessors so it was great to see many of our students doing so well.

We achieved our highest ever number of top grades with 21% awarded being Grades 7-9 (A-A*) – and over half of these being at the top Grades 8-9.

The majority of subjects attained above the national average for Grades 5-9 and several subjects showed very strong and improved performance, including Art, Geography, Photography and Psychology.

Headteacher, Michael Sullivan, said: “We’ve seen some exceptional performances from Forest Hill students this year which make us so proud. This is due to the hard work of our boys and their dedicated teachers, and in no small part to the support of their families. I look forward to welcoming many of the boys back into our Sixth Form to continue their studies. For all the students, however, I would like to congratulate them on their success and wish them the very best for their futures.”
