A Level Results 2020

SFH6, the joint Sydenham and Forest Hill School Sixth Form, has enjoyed outstanding A Level success in recent years and, despite the controversy surrounding this year’s A Level results, we are extremely proud of all of our Year 13 students.
The students, who would normally have taken their A Level exams in May and June, received their externally moderated results on the morning of Thursday 13 August 2020.
As always, there were some stunning individual performances and we maintained the trend of large numbers of students gaining places at the elite Russell Group universities and other prestigious institutions. We are delighted to see three SFH6 students going on to further study at Oxford and Cambridge.
Mr Sullivan, Headteacher, said: “We should not under-estimate the scale of the challenge this year’s Year 13 faced in the context of the pandemic. It has been the toughest year to date but we are incredibly proud of all our students and teachers who have worked tirelessly to achieve this year’s A Level results and I am very pleased that many of our students have gained places at their chosen university. We wish each and every Sixth Form student every success for the future and look forward to hearing about their next steps.”
