A Level Results 2023

On the morning of Thursday 17 August 2023, Year 13 students collected their A Level grades – the results of two years’ hard work and determination from a year group that was hardest hit by Covid both academically and socially. Having never previously sat public exams only makes their accomplishments all the more inspiring.
SFH6, our joint Sydenham and Forest Hill School Sixth Form, has enjoyed outstanding A Level success in recent years. Once again, there were some fantastic individual performances and we are extremely proud of all of our Year 13 students.
The variety of degree courses and apprenticeships being taken reflects the diverse range of interests and aptitudes of our students, with many students planning to attend Russell Group universities and other prestigious institutions in September.
We wish our leavers the very best in their next adventures, as they strike out for the world beyond school.

Mr Sullivan, Headteacher, said: “This year’s cohort was yet another set of students who had their education severely disrupted by Covid-19, with two prolonged periods of school closures and cancellation of their GCSEs in 2021. We are very proud of all of our students for the hard work and effort they have invested in achieving their results today. I am delighted that so many will now go on to study a wide range of courses at the universities of their choice. On behalf of all the staff at Forest Hill School, I wish them the very best for the future.”
