A Level Results 2021

When our Year 13 students embarked on their A Level courses in September 2019, they could never have predicted that two years later they would not be sitting their official A Level examinations due to a global pandemic. Despite an extremely challenging 15 months, students persevered and worked under difficult conditions to get the evidence-based grades they deserved on the morning of Tuesday 10 August 2021.

SFH6, our joint Sydenham and Forest Hill School Sixth Form, has enjoyed outstanding A Level success in recent years and, 2021 was no different. We are extremely proud of all of our Year 13 students.

As always, there were some stunning individual performances and we maintained the trend of large numbers of students gaining places at the elite Russell Group universities and other prestigious institutions. We are delighted to see seven SFH6 students going on to further study at Oxford and Cambridge.

Mr Sullivan, Headteacher, said: “It has been another difficult year for students, so we are extremely proud of the determination and willingness to succeed shown by this year’s cohort. I am so pleased that, despite the disruptions over the past two academic years, these young men and women can now go on to study a wide range of courses at the universities of their choice. I would also like to thank the dedicated staff who helped our students to achieve their ambitions.”
