St Christopher’s Hospice Summer School

Young Change-Makers is a summer school and leadership development programme for 16- 18-year olds who are interested in helping in their community to support others and create change. Based at St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham, the programme offers both a five-day summer school and a year-long opportunity. Click here for further information and an application form.

Weekly Football Sessions

Elite Performance Coaching hosts weekly football training sessions for boys and girls aged 5-12 in the sports hall at Forest Hill School on Tuesday evenings.

Free Boxing Lessons

Honor Oak ABC Elm Lane Community Boxing is running a free boxing training programme (24 weeks) from January 2022 for boys and girls aged 8-15 years on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Ladywell Arena.

CYM Holiday Courses

The Centre for Young Musicians (CYM) is a division of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama based near Waterloo. The CYM offers a range of Holiday Courses, which are open to all of London’s young musicians regardless of attending during term time.

Lewisham Junior Volunteer Police Cadets Unit

The Forest Hill JVPC unit meets on Wednesdays from 3.30-5.00pm in the Sports Hall at Forest Hill School and is open to students in Years 7 and 8.

GT Scholars 1-to-1 Online Tutoring and Mentoring Programmes

GT Scholars is an education organisation running online tutoring, mentoring and personal development programmes designed to help young people improve their grades and gain access to top universities, leading apprenticeships and competitive careers.

BTEC Explorer Courses

Explorer Courses on Pearson Learning Hub have been designed for anyone looking to explore career opportunities in a specific industry sector, or for those who are not sure of what career they wish to go into and are still exploring their own interests and strengths.
