Forest Hill School has extensive facilities that are available for hire when not in use by our students. These facilities include two sports halls, dance studio, drama studio, 260-seat theatre, a performance space, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), outside spaces, a food technology room and classrooms.

These spaces can be hired by the hour for sports clubs, extra-curricular classes, parties, exhibitions, performances, filming, exhibitions and meetings. 

Most facilities are available to hire at weekends, throughout the school holidays, and after 5.00pm on weekdays during term time.

Payment Policy: Payment required in advance. For block bookings, invoices are for a calendar month and payment is required in advance by BACs. No cash or cheques please.

Large Sports Hall

The large sports hall is 33m x 18m in size and can be used for a range of sporting activities including football, basketball, netball, and softball cricket.

Small Sports Hall

The small sports hall is 18.3m x 12.3m in size and suitable for a range of sporting activities including football, basketball, table tennis, and children’s sports parties.

Dance Studio

The dance studio is 18.3m x 12.2m in size. The specialist floor means that this space is only available for dance, yoga and pilates classes.

Main Atrium and Stage Area

Located in the centre of the main school building, this large flexible space is suitable for parties, wedding receptions, performances, concerts, exhibitions and meetings. The atrium seats up to 400 people in theatre style or 192 people on 24 round tables of eight.

Use of the school kitchen in conjunction with main atrium is possible on application only.

Ken Kirkby Theatre

The theatre has a small stage area and seats 260 people. This space is ideal for presentations and large meetings. Audio visual facilities are available but you would need to source your own technical support.

Drama Studio

Located next to the theatre, the drama studio can either be used for groups of 30 or in conjunction with the theatre for dressing room space.

Food Technology Classroom

This room is ideal for cooking classes or clubs. Alternatively, it can be hired in conjunction with the atrium for food preparation.

MUGA – Multi Utility Games Area

This is an outdoor tarmac area available for football, basketball and other sports. Please note, there are no floodlights in this area.

Playground

Outside of school use, parking facilities are available in the school playground upon application.
