Information Booklets
Every year, we provide two booklets to new families: Information for New Parents and A Guide to Year 7 (for students). PDFs of these booklets can be viewed by clicking on the images below.
Transition Resources
Be Awesome, Go Big is an information package designed to help Year 6 pupils (and their parents) transition into Year 7 – offering motivational, helpful and reassuring resources to help pupils feel ready and equipped for the journey ahead.
Resources for Year 6 Pupils – The lessons are based on the books You Are Awesome by Matthew Syed and Go Big by Matthew Burton. Each session takes pupils through some big ideas to help them on their way to secondary school.
Resources for Parents and Carers – These resources provide information, tips and questions to help parents and carers talk to their child about the transition and help prepare them for starting secondary school.
