ParentPay
Forest Hill is a cashless school which uses ParentPay, an online payment system for schools. ParentPay allows parents to pay quickly and securely for school meals, trips, activities, revision guides and more. ParentPay accounts can be easily topped up online by debit or credit card, or in cash through PayPoint stores.
It is a safer, more convenient system eliminating the need for students to bring cash and cheques into school.
By visiting the ParentPay website (www.parentpay.com) you can log into your account choosing which item and how much you would like to pay. This directly links to your child’s account and informs the school that a payment has been made.
All parents are issued with a unique username and password upon joining Forest Hill School.
If you have more than one child at our school, or children at other ParentPay schools, you can create a single account login for all your children.
Please visit the ParentPay Parent Support Page for a list of frequently asked questions, which you may find helpful: https://www.parentpay.com/parent-account-faqs/
ParentPay Shop
Forest Hill School has an online shop on ParentPay which can be accessed here. The shop sells various items including school ties, sports team kit and sketchbooks and is where parents can sign up and pay for fee-paying after school clubs.
Cashless Catering
Forest Hill School’s cashless catering system uses biometrics (fingertip identification). This technology is very safe and commonly used in secondary schools across the UK. Parents/carers must complete a biometrics consent form in order for students to have their thumbprint registered.
The thumbprint scan allows students to purchase food and drinks from the atrium at lunchtime or from the snack shacks at breaktime and lunchtime, subject to funds available on their ParentPay account. Students who are in receipt of Free School Meals have their account credited daily with the current allowance.
