Writer Sue Cheung will be coming to Forest Hill School in November to talk to our Year 8 pupils about her hit new semi-biographical book “Chinglish”, which addresses the struggles of teenagers and parents everywhere.
The main character, Jo, has the added issues of language barriers, racism, poverty and bullying to contend with. “Chinglish” has been chosen as a Lewisham Book Award title, so we are thrilled to be able to hear about it directly from Sue Cheung herself.
Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase (£7.99) during breaktime on Monday 4th November for pupils who are not attending the event, but would still like to have a signed copy.
