Open Events 2024

Open events are a great opportunity to see the school in action and to find out if it is the right school for you.

OPEN EVENING – Monday 23 September 2024, 6.00-8.00 pm

Our Open Evening will be held on Monday 23 September 2024, 6.00-8.00 pm. It is an opportunity to tour the school and explore all that Forest Hill has to offer. All the family is welcome and no booking is required. Visitors will make their own way around the school using the maps provided – each subject will be showcased with staff and students available to speak to in the classrooms.

There will be two headteacher talks (6.00 pm and 7.00 pm) and a schedule of music and dance performances on stage in the Atrium. The Head of Year 7, SEND and EAL staff will be available and refreshments will be provided by the Friends of Forest Hill.

OPEN MORNINGS

The Open Mornings are an opportunity to see FHS in action on a normal school day. The event begins (promptly at 9.00 am) with a guided tour of the school and ends with an address by the Headteacher in our Theatre. There will also be a chance to ask questions about the school and aspects of the secondary transition process to both students and staff. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of Forest Hill. We welcome pupils to accompany their parents/carers.

The Open Mornings will take place on the following dates:

  • Thursday 26 September 2024, 9.00 – 10.30 am
  • Friday 27 September 2024, 9.00 – 10.30 am
  • Thursday 3 October 2024, 9.00 – 10.30 am
  • Friday 4 October 2024, 9.00 – 10.30 am

(No booking required)
