On Thursday 10 November 2022, our KS3 Drama Club took part in a mesmerising live poetry performance and planting of a grand oak tree in Mayow Park as part of a collaborative project – Seven Poet Trees – with the Young Lewisham Project (YLP) and Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL).

The students spent six weeks working with Lewisham poet, performer and educator, Mark ‘Mr T’ Thompson, generating their own poetry and spoken word, which they brought to the stage at this event.
